CAJO Conference 2013
Chief Justice of Jamaica, The Hon. Mrs. Justice Zaila McCalla and seven members of the Judiciary, Magistracy and Judicial Officers participated in the 3rd Biennial Conference of the Caribbean Judicial Officers (CAJO) in Bridgetown Barbados – September 26-28, 2013. The Chief Justice representing the Jamaican Judiciary led one of the plenary sessions. The subject discussed was “Is the Justice System under threat or should it be maintained?”
CAJO brings together the region’s Chief Justices, Judges, Magistrates, Masters, Tribunal Members, Registrars, Executive Court Administrators and many other Judicial Officers. The objectives of CAJO are geared towards the further development, enhancement and progression of the judicial services and systems of the Caribbean region.
