The plaintiff is a higgler by occupation. In May 1993 she lived at Hayfield
in the parish of St. Thomas. On May 5,1993, the plaintiff visited the Bath Police
station in response to a request by the 1st defendant, Garnett Lewis. On her
arrival at the police station, the 1st defendant drew his licensed firearm and shot
her in the upper left thigh.
The plaintiff was taken to the Princess Margaret Hospital in the p d h of St.
Thomas where she was treated and released the same day. The foll03Ving
medical report was agreed between the parties:
